June 04 Africa and KarmaSo I have been back from Ghana for a week. I will update and post my pictures soon.
I also just had an amazing experience at Quiznos involving karma.
When I am on a computer and not my phone I will detail. May 10 Of things. So school is done! Which is extra happy. I did well I think. I got an A in Effective Speech and thats the only grade I know for a fact yet, but I'd guess an A or a B in my classes that aren't Bio. And Bio I just hope I passed.
But it was a good semester. I like going. I like Brookdale.
And in... 6 days, I leave for Ghana...
I can't wait.
Anyway.
Work is eh. So. Maybe a new job after Ghana? April 24 BriefI'm in Bio on my 8525 so I'll keep it brief. 8525. Pretty magical. The whole selling my Blackjack on eBay and using the PayPal credit to get the 8525 worked out perfectly which was good. The phone itself is pretty fantastic. I kind of wish that Cingular didn't remove the front facing second video camera (it's a rebranded HTC TyTn) as that would have given it incredible longevity, but still, its not like video calling will be standard for at least 2 or 3 years. But other than that, it has a great form factor, the keyboard that slides out is fantastic, and the touch screen is growing on me. It handles WM6 really well, but after flashing back and forth between the leaked official update for 4/25 which is Windows Mobile 5, and the recently leaked full version of 6 from Dopod, I've finally settled on the official with 5 and some additions like Windows Live from 6. So now after like a week of flashing and seeing the flaws and strengths in each, I have my 8525 nice and stable and fast, with 5, and Live, but fully compatible with all Cingular services including video and PTT. I heart it. Maybe screen sbots later. In other things, Ghana is soon! I can't wait! I'm doing my service work in education with these two girls who are like the only other young people going and on top of that they also aren't healthcare majors like everyone else going. We're going to be working in the school in Arriputta with the kids and I'm so psyched! I just gotta get through the next tough ass weeks of school. And get my damn visa! And my baby came out and I'm extra proud of him and love him with all my heart. Oh! And Christendom was really great and there were some amazing discussions and I'll have to post more on that later. Back to Bio. |
